Off course not everyone want to create a luxurious or feminine look to their living room but maybe you want to make a retro look? Red pillows come in specific retro designs that will make your living room look like a more arty designed room. You can mix this with different red and white attributes to create an even more retro design.

The good thing about red is that you can use it with many other colors. if you want to go for a modern look than white or black are really nice colors to mix with. if you want to create a more romantic look than try to mix it with brown or orange. However, do not mix it with green, purple or pink because those colors will make the room look awfully crowded.

off course you can decide to buy red cushions in a furniture store or at stores like Wal-Mart, but you can also try to make them yourself. It is very easy to make them yourself, all you have to do is choose the fabric you want, measure the size of the cushion you want to have covered and sew the ends together. Not only will this save you money, but you are also able to create a personal and unique look.
