Everybody knows what a bar stool is as most of you have encountered one while being in a cafe sipping your beer, wine or other beverage. Although you will probably only see simple designed bar stools in a cafe there is actually a wide variety of different designs available. You can buy a cheap bar stool for as cheap as $30 but you can also decide to buy a more luxurious one for around $300. Which one you like is a matter of personal taste. The reason why the price can vary this much depends on the material the stool is made from and the bar stool cushions that are attached to it. Cheaper designs will obviously not sit as comfortable as a more expensive one because they are made of different material that will not give you the same comfort.

The bar stool cushions will mainly influence the price of the stool. If you want real leather than it is not more than reasonable that you are going to pay for that feature. But if you don't mind much from what the cushion is made from than leather is not a good idea. Although you can buy bar stools almost everywhere, it is sometimes hard to find places where you can replace the cushion. There are many reasons why you want to decide to buy a new bar stool cushion but the most logical ones are that they teared or that you want to redecorate your bar stools

It is important to consider the price of your stool before you decide to replace the cushion. if you have a very cheap stool than it might not be worth the effort to replace the cushion because buying a new chair will probably be cheaper. But if you have a more expensive bar stool than it might be pity to buy a complete new one.

If you want to replace the cushion than the first place to look at is the primary shop where you bought the stool in the first place. Contact them and ask if there is a possibility that you can buy a new cushion. If that is not possible than there are basically two options left, furniture stores or cheaper stores like Wal-Mart or Target. Wal-Mart will probably not have a lot of choice but there is a big chance that the bar stool cushions will be much cheaper than when you buy it at a furniture store mile macy's.

A cheaper option might be to look for bar stool cushion covers. If the seat is made out of leather than there are many options available to cover the seat. Although esthetically this is not the best solution, nobody will see that the cushion is broken.

Yet another cheap option is to place an advertisement on Ebay or craigs list, maybe someone has an old bar stool that he is not using anymore and where you can buy the cushion from. Sometimes there are also manufactures that offer their services to repair your cushion for a fraction of the price you pay at macy's.
