Baby Hampers

A baby clothes hamper might not seem like a very "exciting" gift to present to a woman who is about tho become a mother. Still, a baby hamper is really a very useful and practical gift. After all, no one would deny the fact that a baby creates a lot of dirty laundry.

Today, baby hampers come with all manner of special features. Someone in need of a gift to take to a baby shower might want to get an expandable hamper. Because of its conpact size, such a baby gift hamper would be easy to wrap and carry to the location of the shower.

Perhaps a young couple plans to move into a new home, one that will of course contain a nursery. In that case, the same couple could use a different sort of hamper. Someone going to their baby shower might want to use an envelope, in order to offer something new in the way of baby gift hampers. That guest might offer to pay for placement of a wall hamper in that couple's new home.

Another possibility is the hanging hamper. If such a hamper had a cute and attractive design, it could help to dress up a baby's room.  A sturdy hanging hamper could well get used for an extended period of time, perhaps until a toddler started preschool.

The mother of an infant might not realize how important it is to teach young children about caring for their clothes. A child of two can learn to put dirty clothes in a hamper. If that child has an attractive hanging hamper, then he or she could well enjoy throwing dirty clothes into that hamper.

Of course, a mother does not want to make that chore "too fun." Sometimes a young child looks at changing his or her clothes as a "play activity." That child could change clothes so often, that he or she has "nothing to wear" when the family plans to visit friends or relatives.

In terns if baby gifts, is there a hamper that doubles as a changing table? That would seem to make a great shower gift. Of course, it would seem foolish to offer any such hamper, without filling that hamper with some clean new clothes.

After all, even the most attractive baby hamper can not help a mother to find time for doing all of the laundry that is sure to pile up, once her baby is born. A new mother can never have too many baby clothes.
